Grand Central Petaluma Coffee & Empanadas & Chocolate Cafe

I had the cappuccino and beef empanada. The cappuccino was well made, but to light for me, I prefer stronger (not there fault but mine for not ordering a double) The empanada was fantastic, I only Josh that it was a larger size. Seating was pretty good mainly outside seating with minimal inside seating. The view outside was very relaxing and well worth the visit. The one wish O had was that they had there mugs available for sale.

Grand Central Petaluma is my GO TO coffee (and more) shop! Not only great coffee and empanadas, they are a family owned business that supports *other* local businesses. You can grab food and artisan goods from other shops right there. Plus, they have community events and are mega kid friendly. AND right on the river?? Truly a Petaluma gem Support local business!

First time at this gem of place on the bank of the Petaluma River. Grand Central serves up an eclectic variety of locally made pastries, with their unique coffee options. I loved the Horchata Latte! Looking forward to returning to try the empanadas and sitting outside to enjoy them in the sunshine. Really interesting array of local and Ecuadorian crafts and products on display and available for sale. If you support local businesses, this is a must-visit.

Their gluten free & vegan empanada was actually good! They also have a lot of GF pastries. The seating outside, overlooking the water, is great on a warm summer day.

I absolutely adore Grand Central Petaluma. I love knowing that when I choose to order here, I'm not just helping to support them; I'm also helping to support their small business partners. GCP's food is all made by local businesses; they offer a multitude of events (story-telling, book clubs, vendor markets, children's music hour, etc.); and nothing beats sipping coffee from one of their handmade ceramic mugs while taking in views of the Petaluma river. Grand Central Petaluma truly is a community project. If that's your vibe, you're going to love it here, too.

The coffee and food here is SOOOO GOOD! On top of that they have the most exquisite gift options and “treat yo self” items to purchase. My absolute favorite hand thrown pottery cappuccino cups of all time were a partnership with a local artist that they showcase. Being gluten free I was so excited to find empanadas that were BETTER than any I’ve had in years! All of their gluten free options are intentional and don’t feel like you’re compromising. Can not recommend this place enough. Hands down worth the drive!

Title: Unique Coffee Experience with a Great Atmosphere I visited with my family to try some specialty coffees and was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the employees were Argentinian. Being Hispanic ourselves, it made for a more relaxed and enjoyable conversation. The menu offered a variety of unique drinks I had never tried before. We ordered the Patagonia, Azteca, and Horchata latte—all delicious with interesting flavor combinations. We also had a few empanadas, which tasted good but were unfortunately colder than expected. The outdoor seating area by the river was a great bonus, featuring a kids’ play area and a pet-friendly environment. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a good coffee while taking in the beautiful weather. Will definitely be back!
